| How did I end up in Hanford? |
|
Moved to Hanford in 1975 from Pennsylvania. Hanford was a huge change from the small town I came from. We moved to Short Drive, which had at least 20 boys close to my age within 2 blocks. We had the Lendrums, Cecils, Cardosa's, Chapmans, Sorenson's, Castro's, Groshon, and poor Marilee Johnson right in the middle. There were a lot of eggs thrown at halloween in that neighborhood.
My dad brought us to Hanford because he started a business called World Wide Sires. It was tough explaining to my friends my dad specialized in exporting bull semen.

He was my first science teacher my freshman year and has had both of my boys for science at La Jolla Middle school in Visalia. He has had an influence on me and both my sons. Great teacher and person.
