Enjoying life with Ron. We enjoy the laid back life in the country. Loving my time with the grandkids and also with my kids. They are turning out to great adults and fun people. We have lots of fun spending time at the coast and even occasionally get together with the gang for a weekend trip. Its always a good time.

Unsure what path to take, I decided I would like to
learn to cut hair. I did and worked for the orginial Panache for a couple of years. Not what I thought.
I moved on to pharmacy work. I was a techician for Tomer drug and Sacred Heart Hospital and Longs drugs. Some how I took a test for the Post
office and was hired in 1987. I been there every since. I'll probably stay until I'm elible to retire. With luck we'll sell our walnuts and move to the coast at that time. |
| How did I end up in Hanford? |

As with many people in this area, I was a Navy brat.
I was actually born in the SanDiego area and soon after my father was transferred to Lemoore NAS.

My best memory is of Mrs. Deruiter. She never took no for an answser, or put up with anything. I had a lot of respect for her and her teaching methods. I always felt she was one of the best!

For one of out Friday night dances, our gang(Jana, Marsha, Debbie, Janine, Debbie, Mendy and myself) came up with a dance that we all did together and practiced forever. It was so much fun coming up with that and actually doing it at
the dance. |
