I'm trying to remember whether or not Fezell transferred to Monroe during part of our 6th grade year, but I don’t really know for sure. I do know that he went to both Woodrow and HUHS. I don’t think I ever had any classes with him and I know that we didn’t go out for the same sports, but I saw him around campus. I guess the one thing that I remember most is that he and Eric Taylor used to hang around together a lot.
I never saw Fezell after high school. Nevertheless, I’m still surprised and saddened to hear of his passing now.
My biggest memory of Fezell was how he could jump. I've made him a legend in four different States, telling people how a little guy named Fezell could dunk a volleyball. It amazed me to see it every time he did it. I am sorry to see he's passed. He was a great guy and he'll be missed.
