I've been checking out the pics of those of you that have updated your profiles. I'm old enough to be one you old farts? I'm gonna be hangin out with grannies & grampas. Leave your walkers at the door. I hope I can get home in time after the party to catch my favorite episode of Matlock and Wheel of Fortune. Don't trust anyone over 60!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone I'll miss at the reunion. I'm sorry I can't be there but I'll be taking a group of 4-H kids to our state leadership conference that week. I wish I could be in two places at once, but I haven't figured that one out yet. Have fun!

I read on the class website that your mom has an extra yearbook. Mine was burn in our house fire 18 years ago and I have been trying to find another one but to no avail.

If she still has it, I would love to buy it from her. I might try to call her today and if this works out, I could bring the $$ to the reunion and get the book from you there if that would be ok?

On another note, after HS I went to England to visit some family friends. They lived in Royton just out of Manchester. I was there almost 6 months. I loved it there and have always wanted to take my husband back for a visit. How did you end up living there?

I also have a spare, at my Mom's house. She bought one when we were flogging them to raise extra money for the Janus that year. She'll never look at it, and I don't need it. I don't think it has any signatures or marks, and would be in new condition, as it's been in a cupboard since 1979. We'll be in Hanford as f August 6 - flying in from London. So you'd have to get it rather close to the reunion date, or we could take it with us to Harris Ranch. My mom's number is 582-8137. Let me know if this would help. Hi!

I'm Merrily Johnson's (now Merrily Rapozo Wilson) daughter, and i'm looking for a copy of the 1979 Janus Yearbook. My mom's copy got pretty beaten up. The binding is falling apart, pages got torn out or fell out over the years. I am on the search for another copy, if its possible to find. Her's is so messed up that none of the student life pages are readable due to ripped or missing pages. I feel that it is particularly important to find this yearbook since it was her senior year. If anyone can help me find this yearbook, there aren't words for how much it would mean to both myself and her. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and hopefully someone can help me.

Thank you for the reply. As to what else to do in Hanford I wouldn't know. I haven'g lived thee for over 20 years. Last time I was there it had changed so much. Hopefully so read this and come up with some ideas.

Yes, Cheryl...and it will be on the invitation...Friday night we are going to do an informal get together at the Irwin St. Inn Courtyard, just a buy your own dinner kind of thing & hang out. I would love to get Lisa Blaylock Butts to bring her Jazz band from the high school ( I still have to ask her:-) They've offered their hotel to us as well for $70.00 night +tax. Harris Ranch is $110.00 + tax and the tickets to the reunion are $60.00 per person, no discount for couples. More info to come...maybe golf, park on Sunday?? Anything else anyone can think of?
